"Day 'n Nite"

This piece was inspired by Kid Cudi’s song “Day ‘n Nite” which discusses the feelings of day and night and its effect on humans as we experience them. When I hear that song, these are the colors that explode through my imagination. Bright burns of orange invoke a warm summer day, along with different textures, each with their own unique feel, just like the different things that we explore in the outdoors. The piece then vanishes into the night with a murky blend of yellow, purple, and black. Facades of the moon linger on the edges of the night time horizon. Two polar opposite times , which invoke two polar opposite moods. All within twenty-four hours.
